Modes of work

We offer a number of ways to manage your projects, and this depends on your preferences and requirements.

Fixed price projects

Where the requirements can be clearly defined prior to development and the client requires a set budget, Altima is happy to offer a fixed price for projects. Any work outside of the signed specification can be completed at additional cost.

Time and material based

If the project description is unclear or may change during development, we advise on this mode of work. An example of this may be when fixing or modifying an existing website

If you should choose to assign Altima in this mode, we will allocate a number of programming and design experts specifically to your project. Altima’s Project Manager will provide them with initial directions and specification based on your brief. Periodically, we will provide you with progress reports so that any changes you may have are identified early on.

Altima usually requires payment during project milestones, and this will be based on time spent by our web and design specialists, and any other approved expenses we incur (such as purchasing stock photography on your behalf).
 

Dedicated team

Should you have a constant need of qualified personnel for longer period and have a full flexibility, we offer clients the ability to work directly with a dedicated team. We will provide you with our web design and development specialists who will work full-time or part time under your direct management. 

Such team can be as small as a one person working 20 hrs per week or as big as 10 programmers working full-time.

As our expenses and risk is lower in this mode of work, Altima can provide significant discounts from our regular charge rates.

Altima requires that contractors are employed for a minimum of one month in term. Should you not be completely satisfied with the work you are receiving from a contractor, we will replace them at no additional cost to your business.
